Vehicle Recovery Quotes turns your call-out, mileage, working time and resource charges into an itemised estimate. This is the app’s support website.

Get started

  1. Open Use my own rates → Settings.
  2. Choose the vehicle class, service and rate band. Enter your prices, allowances, mileage basis and time billing increment, then save.
  3. Start a new quote and choose the same vehicle, service and band. Add distance, working minutes and any extras.
  4. Save the quote to keep a record of the prices used.

Common questions

Why do I see example prices?

Example mode uses invented prices stored separately from your business rates. Tap Use my own rates. Check the vehicle, service and rate band in both Settings and the quote. A costing created from a saved job retains that job’s original rates; start a new quote to use your current settings.

Why is time rounded up?

Working time above the included allowance rounds up to your chosen billing increment. For example, a 30-minute increment bills 31 minutes as 60 minutes. Choose the increment that matches your business policy.

Where are my records?

Rates, drafts and saved quotes stay in local storage on your device. There is no account or automatic cloud sync. Use Settings → Export backup to save a copy using your device’s file picker. Restore replaces the current app data after confirmation.

Can I share or print a quote?

Open a saved quote and use Share / copy quote or Print / save PDF to open your device’s sharing or printing options.

What units does the app use?

Pounds sterling and miles. You enter your own prices and tax settings. Resource rates are shared across vehicle classes and rate bands.
